Welcome to a new series called Mennonite Theology 101 with Maria Dyck and Melanie Salte!
Here we explore some of the earliest and most basic beliefs of the early Anabaptist church which formed the Mennonite faith and culture as we know it today.
Today, we begin with the belief in 'non-resistance', also known as pacifism, and discover why this belief was a radically new way of thinking.
Just how far did the early Anabaptist hold to this idea of non-resistance, and do Mennonites still practice it today?
